How it all started
In 1984 Earl Nicholson began Nicholson's Garage Door Service. He serviced houses in the Springfield area with Integrity and Quality. In 1991, Earl McFarland purchased the business for it's great reputation and exceptional service.

We took the small idea of a garage door company and expanded the service area and the product line creating McFarland's Garage Door Service. Through the years we have grown many valuable relationships with our clients. We pride ourselves on quality, integrity, and reputation. We like to treat every job as if we were performing it to our own house. Not too long ago we had a client that needed a new door pretty bad. He had done a little research and didn't really know what to get. He went to some major retailers and gathered prices then called us to install what he almost purchased. We came out to his house, measured his opening and informed him of the differences between different doors styles and types. We were able to save him money, professionally install a higher quality product, and at the same time make a new friend. We have always worked off of the age old philosophy do unto others as you would want them to do unto you.

We want you to trust us to work on your mother's house or your Grandmother's house. We want you to feel comfortable with us working on a rental property you own and working with the tenant directly with the peace of mind that you can trust us to take care of you. We want to treat you as family so you feel as such.
